blessings always come in disguise.
i don't have a job at the moment; but i became a full time housewife and nurse for my lovely grandma who acts like my grand daughter.
this will end when i find a new job and when my grandma becomes too ill for me to take care. and so i treasure every minute i spend with her. i went down to the car park to take a 5-minute walk with her just now and the walk has made my day! her body aches so much walking is simply too much for her, but she did it for me!
washing her hair and helping her bathe is one of the enjoyable thing i've ever done in my life--being able to take care of someone when they need you is the best gift "the sky" can offer-- to a grandchild like myself, to a child, a friend, a teacher, a colleague, a neighbour and so on.
love is what keeps the world (some beautiful; most of the time crazy) going.
let's spread love!
but as a lot of wise men say: love yourself before you love others. you cannot truly others if you don't love yourself or don't know how to.
so am going to read a little bit now and then take a nap before i help my grandma with the medicine and do the shopping for dinnner! : ) |
